Philippa Vernon-Powell (Director/NLM Field Director/Trustee)
Philippa has given up 20 years of successful corporate life to initiate, set up and work as NLM's Field Director. She lives permanently in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Through her local stewardship all monies raised by NLM are used to support these initiatives.
"Having spent years flying the ‘corporate flag’ between Europe and North America it is now exciting, rewarding and awe-inspiring to be so involved with the children in Puerto Vallarta. Their resilience is an inspiration. Although there are many laughs, there are moments of deep anguish and sadness, as well as stories that keep me awake at night."
